Miss Russell & George Henry in 1909
Sweet snapshot of Miss Russell and baby George Henry on a hammock. Although for identification purposes it would be nice if George Henry were the child's forename and surname, it also very possible that George Henry was his forename and middle name.
Miss Russell appears to be in a nursing type uniform. Perhaps she was the child's nurse? Or perhaps her white dress is just indicative of the summer weather.
The photograph was acquired in Maine, and the scenery certainly looks like Maine, but the photo could have been taken elsewhere.
If you have any insights into the identities of Miss Russell and George Henry, please contact me.
