I found a George William Thompson, who lived at Bedford, Massachusetts, and who fits the age criteria. Bedford is close to Carlisle and Concord, Massachusetts, and it's possible that C.H.S. stands for either.
The reason I'm speculating on the proper high school is that his photograph was found with another 1907 graduation photo, of William Francis Robbins of Carlisle, Massachusetts. Bedford students might have attended a high school at Carlisle, or Bedford and Carlisle might have fed into Concord High School. Hopefully a reader will have an insight.
From online research, hopefully correct, and hopefully with the proper George W. Thompson:
George William Thompson was born 25 May 1888 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England, the son of William and Sarah E. (Armatage) Thompson, who all later immigrated to the United States and settled at Bedford, Massachusetts.
On 16 December 1912 at Bedford, Massachusetts, George married Bertha Alice Temple, who was born 14 December 1892 at Somerville, Massachusetts, the daughter of William H. and Jennie Colby (Townsend) Temple.
William H. Temple was born at Bangor, Maine on 7 November 1861, the son of Joseph and Mary Ann (Files) Temple. Jenny Colby (Townsend) Temple was born 6 May 1866 at Chelsea, Massachusetts, the daughter of True W. and second wife Lizzie S. (Colby) Townsend.
George and Bertha lived at Bedford, Massachusetts where they raised at least two children. In the 1930 Census of Bedford, George gave his occupation as per diem railroad clerk.
I found an online reference where Bertha Alice (Temple) Thompson lived to the age of 108.
