  1. So many names, so little time, so I picked the apparent owner of the issue of the Chronicle.

Based on information at familysearch, rootsweb, and ancestry.com, Phyllis Deane Taylor was born November 6, 1898, in Paris, Maine, the daughter of Frank Albion Taylor and Margaret Etta Murch. She married Frank Albert Dodge on September 28, 1919, in Lewiston.

Phyllis and Frank are on the 1940 census of Paris, Maine, with four children. Apparently the oldest daughter, Frances Taylor (Dodge) Carey had already moved out of the household. Frances died in 1986.

The tree at ancestry lists five Dodge children, including a son marked Private. (I didn't find a death record for him either.)

Besides Frances (Dodge) Carey, there are Winona Marguerette (Dodge) Berry, who died in 1985; Frank Albert Dodge, Jr (husband of Myra Etta Winchenbach and Theresa Decoteau), who died in 1989; and Donovan Albion Dodge (husband of Lucelia Lord), who died in 2009.

    The trees are at:
