1919 photograph of Frank Gilmore Thompson, wife Katherine Maud (Hanscom) Thompson and daughters Elizabeth Ellen and Janet.  The family lived at Milo, Maine.

The person who identified the people in the photograph apparently did so at a later date, after the two girls had married, Elizabeth to Wilbur G. Wallin and Janet to John I. Cunningham.

According to information on Maine birth and other records:

• Frank Gilmore Thompson was born September 29, 1875 at Sangerville, Maine, son of Freeland D. Thompson and Emily Janet (Knowlton) Thompson.  
• Katherine Maud Hanscom was born June 15, 1879 at Milo, Maine, the daughter of Isaac Wilson Hanscom and Lizzie Catherine (Wingate) Hanscom. 
• Frank and Katherine married at Milo, Maine, on February 2, 1909 and had three children: Elizabeth Ellen; Craig Gilmore; and Janet.
• Frank operated a grocery store.
